Chef Role – Join Our Daytime Café in the Heart of Cork City

Bakestone has just opened a brand-new café at 1–4 Perry Street, Cork City Centre (T12 TV04) – right beside Patrick Street – and we’re looking for a passionate, reliable chef to join our growing team of chefs and bakers.

Part of a dynamic group of cafés and gastropubs, this is a fantastic chance to grow your skills in a creative, fast-paced kitchen. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef, preparing fresh, globally inspired food made from scratch.

What We’re Looking For:

• Kitchen experience in a café or casual dining setting

• A genuine passion for good food and fresh ingredients

• Willingness to learn and follow house recipes

• Strong communication and teamwork

• A great attitude and high standards

What We Offer:

• Daytime hours only – 8am–4pm (Mon–Fri), 9am–4pm (Sat–Sun)

• Work with an experienced, supportive Head Chef

• Lunch provided daily

• Staff discount & shared tips

• Bike to Work Scheme (after 3 months)

Weekend availability required.
